How to Get to KuerHotel?
Traveling to KuerHotel is straightforward and convenient. If you’re flying, you can land at Kittilä Airport, which has numerous international connections. From the airport, a bus or taxi will take you directly to Ylläs, where KuerHotel is located. Alternatively, if you prefer to travel by train, head to Kolari Railway Station. From there, you can easily catch a bus or taxi to the hotel. If you’re driving, follow the signs to Ylläs and Äkäslompolo village, where KuerHotel awaits your arrival.
👉 Please buy your ticket for buses from the airport or railway station in advance — the online ticket shop closes 3 hours before the bus departure.You can find bus timetables and buy your ticket at Matkahuolto or follow the links below for the closest bus stop or place to get a taxi in Äkäslompolo village.
Directions to KuerHotel
- drive towards Ylläs and turn to route 940.
- KuerHostel is located at Kievarintie 5 in Äkäslompolo village, approximately 30 kilometers from Kolari
- make a left turn to Kievarintie when you see the street lights.
From Muonio or Äkäslompolo
make a right turn to Kievarintie when the pedestrian side walk ends.
The nearest train station is in Kolari, 35 kilometers away.
BUS FROM TRAIN
Bus stop/ ticket to Kartanontie, walk 500 meters uphill.
If you prefer to take a taxi for the last part of your journey from Äkäslompolo village to KuerHostel, please buy your bus ticket to the stop “Äkäshotelli.”
If you have only light luggage and want to walk: get off at Kartanontie bus stop. It is a 600m walk up a steep hill.
The neareast airport is in Kittilä, 50km from KuerHotel.
BUS FROM KITTILÄ AIRPORT
From Kittilä Airport – your bus stop is Tunturintie (next to Mailan Putiikki). The walking distance from the bus stop to Kuerkievari is about 1.7 km.
If you prefer to take a taxi for the last part of your journey from Äkäslompolo village to KuerHostel, please buy your bus ticket to the stop “Äkäshotelli.”
